Shade structures or shade sails can help turn outdoor terraces into comfortable entertaining spaces during summer. The problem is that most decks are too narrow to support the traditional shade sail design.Mulders have designed
an overlapping shade sail structure for entertainment areas where space
is at a premium. A series of overlapping sails can be laid out to practically
fit within most space restrictions. Mulders new design also reduces
the number of supporting posts needed by a third. |

Their
unique supporting pole structure does the work of two or more poles.
Multiple sails can be fixed at different levels on specially extended
fixing arms. For a deck that
needs two overlapping sails, the number of posts needed is reduced from
eight to six. The end effect of this new design is a series of sails,
stepped at different levels. |
